In my spare time I like to cook, painfully for myself most of the time. Which usually means cooking 2/3 portions and snacking on the the rest over the following days. I’m not frontin myself as a chef or a culinary expert of sorts, just someone who enjoys discovering and creating new types of food. I find it soothes my momentary urges to create something.
Over the years I’ve made so many recipes which I’ve forgotten. Which sucks as there’s so many meals that I really nailed and are to never be relived. To do them again requires re-researching and its never as good as the first time.
So this blog is a reference guide to past experiences in the kitchen. Mainly for myself but also anyone randomly here, or friends who feel obliged to take a look.
Nearly everything I cook is a very deformed version of another recipe. I put my hand up and admit it, there’s going to be a lot of plagiarism around here. I’ll often have a basic ingredient, google it, then make a mixture of a few different recipes. I find it a great way to cook as I’ll always be trying new dishes, and nearly always requires what I’ve got in front of me.
